Dr. Hatfield grew up in the small town of Gilbert, located in the coal fields of southern West Virginia. She is graduate of Marshall University and went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry (Memphis, TN). Dr. Hatfield practiced in several different states and practices until 2013, when she founded her own practice, Tradewinds Optometric Group, in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Dr. Hatfield is active in the community and is a member of the North Carolina State Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association. She resides in Davidson with her husband, their son Alexander and their Siberian husky, Aspen. She is an avid fan of Marshall University sports and the Carolina Panthers!
Angie is the newest addition to the Tradewinds team. Originally from Michigan, Angie relocated to the town of Mooresville over 20 years ago and enjoys the winter months as it reminds her of home. She has over 14 years of retail and customer service experience, and with her passion for fashion and all things glitter, she adds the sparkle and sass to our growing team! Since a child, Angie has always loved country music and absolutely adores Dolly Parton.. So much so that she has named her maltipoo "Dolly". How fun is that? Angie has three beautiful daughters that keep her lively, along with her bearded dragon named Blaze. While not at work, Angie loves spending time with her daughter's outdoors, either fishing, hiking or camping. Frequent visits to the mountains during the fall time is a must for her! She is super excited to connect with our patients and help them not only feel confident about their eyewear, but looking their best as well!
Gail enjoys breaking down the complexity of insurance in a way that is easy for patients to understand. As the Billing Specialist, she assists patients in understanding their vision plans and benefits. In her spare time, Gail enjoys walking, stand-up paddling, and spoiling her grand-babies! She is an avid fan of the Steelers!
Tradewinds is passionate about eye health and how this correlates to the rest of your body and overall well-being.
